Anyone who has done any research on online marketing knows there are plenty of scams. Unfortunately, marketers with no morals take advantage of the multitudes of innocent people who are looking for the means to improve their lives by making money online. It’s sad, because millions of people probably spend money and lose a lot of time, only to get involved with scams or at least bad business ideas that line the marketers’ pockets and leave the buyers with nothing. Thankfully, there are ways you can make money on the Internet without having to invest even one dollar. This should be good news to those who have had run-ins with online scheme run by scam artists!
But sometimes one person’s scam is another person’s good opportunity. A good example of this is the recent controversy over an web business-in-a-box, called site Build It. Some believe that one or more people have created a Site Build It review that was misleading. The owner stepped forward to defend himself and he could be totally right. But it’s up to every individual to do their own research before paying money for Internet “opportunities”.
One of the most successful ways I’ve found to make money online is totally above-board and is also pretty easy. I make money with no money on HubPages. HubPages — a community blogging site — makes it so easy to create content and generate ad revenue. You can create as many or as few content “hubs” as you like. Each hub you create can make up to five types of revenue: Google AdSense, Kontera in-text ads, Amazon products, eBay auction items and any affiliate program you want to add. Sixty percent of the impressions (page views) that generate revenue go to you and HubPages gets the other 40%. Affiliate programs are an exception to that rule though; you get 100% of any income generated by someone clicking through on an affiliate link. It takes a while to get good at writing money-making hubs but the revenue you can generate over time makes it worth it.
One of the affiliate programs I like to use on my hubs is RevResponse, because it provides valuable free information for people. When anyone clicks on your links and qualifies to receive free RevResponse publications or white papers, you make money. That’s all there is to it.
