Benefits of Joint Ventures

Let’s imagine a situation where we have two Internet marketers who know each other. One has a great product that will sell very well but he has no mailing list, no affiliates, nothing. The other is a great marketer with tens of thousands of subscribers in his mailing list, but the problem is he has nothing to sell to them. The very obvious solution here is to give the product to the great marketer with lots of contacts, and split the profits between them. This, my friend, is the very essence of Joint Ventures.

As more and more people start their own home based businesses online, the market is going to get more and more saturated and the competition will grow fiercer by the minute. The fastest, most effective and easiest way to build your own online business empire is through joint ventures. That is, join forces with other marketers to sell your product.

When you joint venture with another marketer, you can ask him (or her) to send an endorsement of your product to his existing mailing list, so you do not need to worry about collecting subscribers from scratch. You already have an easily accessible target market. The trick is to find the right marketer whose subscribers will be interested in your product. Once you achieve that, you won’t even have to worry about generating traffic to your salesletter or finding affiliates to promote your product. All of that is already done for you.

When you joint venture with a solid player in the field, your perceived value and reputation will instantly increase because if this well-known person in the field is willing to work with you as a team, you must have some substance! Hence, when you manage to hook up a joint venture with someone who’s a “regular player” in your niche market, your status will instantly change from “total newbie” to “guru status” overnight!

Last but definitely not least, you will get a chance to build a lasting relationship with a big figure in your niche market, and that alone will worth more than the profits you pull in over that single Joint Venture. When you have a dominant figure in the market as your friend, you will gain a lot of privileges and perks that no newbie like you could ever get their hands on – for example new insights into interesting product ideas and marketing strategies. You can’t even buy that for hard cash!

So, start to stop looking up a potential Joint Venture partner and trying your best to convince him or her to strike up a deal with you! – do you want to make extra cash? – All The Many Benefits Venture With Me Here:

Joint ventures are beneficial for all three parties.. the two marketers who have partnered, and the end consumer who will buy the valued product or service. This is a great business model, and based on the very popular referral process. People are looking for recommendations of products or services that someone they know have used successfully.

  3. Sydney Johnston Says:

Joint ventures can indeed be valuable sources of income. It’s not easy to find a reliable JV partner, but when you do, they can be a gold mine. The key is to make it clear what’s in it for them. As always, if we focus on others first, the rewards will come back to us.

If you spend anytime on the Web and either practice or are trying to learn about Internet marketing, it doesn’t take long to find numerous examples of joint ventures. They can definitely help out both the parties involved in the marketing venture and the end user as Vicki points out. Beyond just the newbie, the Gurus themselves use this approach as witnessed this very week by the number of other Gurus pitching Eban Pagan’s new launch.

  5. Steve DeVane Says:

This is an excellent idea. In an increasingly competetive environment, cooperation can be the best strategy. Finding the best partner through a joint venture can prove very beneficial to all. You’re right, it is a win-win-win situation.

Thanks for sharing this valuable information.

Though I had never considered the idea, it makes a lot of sense. It also allows partners of such ventures to concentrate on their area of expertise. One, as in your example, might continue to work to find the great products while the other partner continues to develop their marketing abilities. Actually this idea makes a great deal of sense. Thanks for the excellent and thought provoking post!

  7. Julie McClelland Says:

Well this is an interesting concept that I must confess I wouldn’t have considered. I can see that this could well be the way of the future in online businesses, for some not all. Good article, thank you for the food for thought :-)

This very interesting point. Combining forces is a great way to increase your business potential. Had not think of calling it Joint Venture, but in many cases internet marketing is a type of joint ventures, where you join forces to promote a product and both parties enter some type of agreement. Thanks for sharing and pointing out a great way to do business online.

Joint ventures are a way to go.

The easiest product to sell is an existing product to an existing client.

Next is a new product to an existing client.

Then it gets a little harder. The next is an existing product to a new client

Then the hardest is a new product to a new client.

So joint ventures at least make it possible to do an existing product to an existing client, or a new product to an existing client.

  15. Brenda Bunney Says:

I think it would be great to go into a joint venture with a great partner. The problem is always finding a “great partner”. When two people combine forces they can get twice as much done, so why not check into it?

  16. Stephen Joyce Says:

Leadership issues often cause an area of concern for the companies involved in a joint venture agreement. Though joint ventures undoubtedly help businesses to grow lucratively, any such partnership under inefficient leadership could even lead to disaster.

    Hi there,

Well, I’d be interested in joint ventures if I could locate other internet marketers who specialize in bipolar treatments!

Maybe it would be more likely for ME to find JV partners, people who want to make extra cash, if I could find those interested to share healthy water…

Anybody out there who’d like to help people get healthy just by changing their water? There is terrific potential in the ionized water market because everyone drinks water and everyone needs a health boost.

An excellent idea for anyone getting started in MLM. Most learn quickly, often the jard way, that the “3 foot rule” burns out their warm market. Generally, this is a permenant condition. So, finding places to get in one’s product in front of other people’s people: doctors, dentists, restaurateurs, or any other place with foot traffic one would not otherwise have access too are all good places to start. The real trick is in finding a tool that is simple, eye catching, and professional looking to draw eyes in the direction of our offer. Great post.

    I appreciate you,

You can always seek the help of others when there’s something lacking to make your business click! This is where, as the author suggests, joint ventures come in. It’s like what you lack in yourself to make a business succeed, you can always get it from a good partner. You just have to make sure that you communicate with each other well to avoid misunderstandings. Each one should do what is tasked to him to move your business forward.

  22. Bruce Says:

Joint Ventures are perfect for many. The problem is where to meet your potential venture partner. The best way to meet and present JVs is by attending internet marketing conferences put on by the gurus – Howie Schwartz, Mike Filsaime, John Reese, The Stompernet Crowd etc etc. Getting out of our homes, out from in front of our computers – socializing face to face, exchanging business cards, hanging out at the bars etc etc. This is the best way hands down, by far to meet JV partners. Anything less will not work the same or be as effective. Those who have tried this know it to be true true true.

  23. Bruce Says:

Joint venture partners are best found at internet marketing conferences or seminars – especially at seminars put on by the ‘gurus’. Mike Filsaime, Jeff Johnson, Howie Schwartz, John Reese – and many more. Those who get out from in front of their computers and venture out into the real worlds of people are often amazed at the people they meet – the people who have very similar interests to their own and people who are also looking for someone to hook up with in a project that require different skill sets or many times just a financial backer and share of the profits. Attending these conferences is by far the best way. Exchanging business cards, taking part in discussions, asking questions, – all the stuff that’s required to let others know who we are and what our interests are and what our purpose is for attending the seminar etc. It’s a great way to get that project off the ground or to join a project as a helper or assistant of some kind. No one works alone anymore and becomes successful for very long. JVs happen but only face-to-face,; not computer to computer.
